In Concert for Cancer presents $50,000 to Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s

Derek joined the In Concert for Cancer team and clinical and philanthropy leaders from Atrium Health outside Levine Cancer Institute Building III in Charlotte for the presentation of a $50,000 check benefiting Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s.

The gift was raised through a benefit event hosted earlier in the year and is designated, as the check memo reads, for “Supporting Families!” — helping ease the practical burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis so patients and their families can focus on treatment and on each other.

The measure of a community isn't the wealth it creates — it's how it treats the people who need the most help.
